Hours of Public Access to Records Maintenance Unit Will Change January 10, 2005

The hours of public access to the Copyright Office's Records Maintenance Unit will change. Beginning January 10, 2005, the Records Maintenance Unit will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Records Maintenance Unit, located in room B-14 of the James Madison Memorial Building, houses the copyright registration records. The new hours apply only to the Records Maintenance Unit, not to any other part of the Copyright Office accessible to the public. A technical amendment to 37 CFR 201 will delete the reference to the hours the Records Maintenance Unit is open to the public. For further information, click here.
