Copyright Office Announces Public Meetings on Reengineering of Documents Recordation Function


The United States Copyright Office will hold three public meetings in connection with its project to reengineer the recordation of documents pertaining to copyrights. A Notice of Inquiry regarding this project was published in the Federal Register (79 FR 2696) on January 15, 2014, and is available at www.copyright.gov/docs/recordation. Comments on that Notice of Inquiry are due by March 15, 2014, and will be posted on the Copyright Office website at the above address. The public meetings will be held on March 25, 2014, in Los Angeles; on March 26, 2014, in Santa Clara County, California; and on March 28, 2014, in New York City.
