Please note: If your copyright claim submitted online through eCO is in order, it will take up to four months to receive a certificate of registration. Approximately 10 percent of these claims may take longer. It you upload an electronic deposit copy, the time will be shorter.

In order to confirm receipt or to determine the status of your submission, we need the following information:

1. the title of the work precisely as it was entered on your application; and
2. the method of payment; and
3. if a check, the name or names (if a joint account) of the account holder/s printed on the check; if a money order, the name of the purchaser written on the money order; and
4. the month and year that you submitted your application.
