ASCERTAINMENT OF CONTROVERSY FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE 1995, 1996, 1997, AND 1998 DIGITAL AUDIO RECORDING ROYALTY FUNDS (64 FR 23875)
The Copyright Office of the Library of Congress directs all claimants to the royalty fees collected in 1995, 1996, 1997, and 1998 for the distribution of digital audio recording devices and media to submit comments as to whether a controversy exists as to the distribution of the royalty fees in the 1995, 1996, 1997, and 1998 Musical Works Funds. Comments and notices of intent to participate are due in the Copyright Office by July 6.

COPYRIGHT OFFICE PROPOSES TO INCREASE CERTAIN FEES JULY 1, 1999
The Copyright Office proposes to increase certain fees effective July 1, 1999. These include the fees for basic registration, document recordation, supplementary registration, search services, certificates, and additional certificates. The final status of the fee increase will be known on June 1. If, as anticipated, the fee increase goes into effect, any request received in the Copyright Office on or after July 1, 1999, for a service whose fee is scheduled to increase on that date must be accompanied by the new fee. Check the Copyright Office Website at http://www.copyright.gov for additional information.
