COPYRIGHT OFFICE REQUESTS COMMENTS AND NOTICES OF INTENTION TO PARTICIPATE IN DISTRIBUTION OF 2001 CABLE ROYALTY FUNDS

The Copyright Office of the Library of Congress directs all claimants to royalty fees collected under the section 111 cable statutory license in 2001 to submit comments on the existence and extent of Phase I and Phase II controversies as to the distribution of these fees. The Office also directs each party with an interest in participating in this distribution proceeding to file a Notice of Intention to Participate. In addition, any claimant who submits a timely Notice of Intention to Participate may comment on the Phase I claimant's motion for a partial distribution of the 2001 cable royalty fees.
