Copyright Office Proposes Requiring Electronic Funds Transfer

The Copyright Office is proposing to amend its rules governing the submission of royalty fees to the Copyright Office to require that such payments be made by electronic funds transfer (ETF). Use of an EFT for payment of royalty fees is expected to provide efficiencies for both the payor and the Copyright Office. Comments are due by June 12. Reply comments are due by July 11.
