Music Modernization Act Events

The Music Modernization Act (MMA) requires the Copyright Office to engage in public outreach and educational activities to inform the public about the changes in the law, including the mechanical licensing collective’s responsibilities, how a copyright owner may claim ownership of musical works (and shares of such works), and how unmatched royalties will be equitably distributed to known copyright owners and songwriters. Below are just some of the events we have spoken at to educate the music community.

To enquire about Copyright Office speakers for your next webinar, event, or podcast, please email [email protected] with the subject line “MMA Speaker.” For educational materials, including videos, visit our educational materials page.
