Copyright Office Extends Period of Public Comment in Notice of Inquiry Regarding Issues Related to Federal Resale Royalty Right

The Copyright Office is extending the deadline for filing comments in response to its September 19, 2012, Notice of Inquiry regarding issues relating to consideration of a federal resale royalty right. Comments are now due by December 5, 2012. To submit comments, go to www.copyright.gov/docs/resaleroyalty. For further information, see www.copyright.gov.

Update on November 2012 Small Copyright Claims Public Hearings 
The Copyright Office has posted information regarding how to participate in the November 2012 public hearings on small copyright claims. The information can be found at www.copyright.gov/docs/smallclaims/.

The deadline for requests to participate in the small copyright claims public hearings is Thursday, October 25, 2012.
