U.S. Copyright Office Extends Reply Comment Period for Online Publication Rulemaking
Issue No. 815 - April 9, 2020
On December 4, 2019, the U.S. Copyright Office issued a notice of inquiry seeking public comment on a broad range of issues concerning the application of the statutory definition of publication to the online context. The Office received forty-two substantive comments in connection with that notice.
To ensure that members of the public have sufficient time to submit reply comments, the Office is extending the deadline for the submission of reply comments to no later than 11:59 p.m. eastern time on June 15, 2020.
