Copyright Office Updates Design and Navigation

Issue No. 874 - January 25, 2021

The U.S. Copyright Office has updated the design of the homepage, multiple secondary pages, and website navigation to enhance the ability to quickly find relevant information and tools. The update is the result of extensive user interviews, analysis of how people of varying levels of copyright knowledge access, and implementation of state-of-the-art user experience principles.

This is the first step in updating the website. While the changes currently extend to the home page, global navigation, and secondary pages, the Office plans to update the remaining content over time to be consistent with the redesigned homepage.
